David Cook is the latest addition to the Court of Kings - Congrats! David Cook is a relative new-comer to the Daytona Beach Volleyball scene but showed great control and athleticism by winning the 2010 Summer Beach King League finals. Playing against Bubba Griggs, David Rimstidt and Jeffrey Doutrick, David was able to win all three games in the final pool. At 21 years of age, we hope to see alot more from David in the future. Jeffrey Doutrick has been playing consistently in the Daytona Beach area since 1995, learning the intricacies of the game from watching and playing with and against players such as Chris Hannemann, Jim Backes, Carl Newsome, Dave Ridgeway and Michael Libby.
Jeffrey won the 2009 Summer King League in the rain soaked finals and the 1999 Beach King hosted by Wade Barrow. Brian Wheeler is a student of the Indoor Game, playing for the University of Florida's club team during his collegiate studies. Brian is a left-handed heavy hitter with good court presence.
Brian won the 2008 Beach King title. Michael Libby has been playing volleyball up and down the east coast for decades. Originally from Maine, he has adapted to the southern beach lifestyle quite well, consistently finishing in the top of the Daytona rankings. Always a threat on the court, whether with power, shots or defense - Michael is fun to play with or against.
Michael won the 2007 Beach King title.
